The shrine is located in the northwest of Ioi village. The enshrined goddess is “Izanami-no-mikoto”, also called “Hakusan-Daigongen”. The main shrine is made in the Kasuga-zukuri style, and richly colored vermillion. It was the tutelary shrine for Fukuanji Temple which had already been ruined. The main shrine was designated as an important cultural property in 1954. As this Muromachi period structure was seriously damaged, a dismantling restoration was carried out and completed in 1971.
